Endangered Pandas

Endangered Pandas

The article is about why the panda is in endangered and how we are save them, but this type add more subtopics in questions, like why the panda is in endangered?

When pandas are between 4-8 years of age, they reach maturity and can reproduce. However, female pandas are only able to get pregnant for 2-3 days each spring! In this small period of time, male and female pandas find each other through scents and calls similar to that of guants or sheep. They do not roar like other bears. Between 95 and 160 days of getting pregnant, the female panda will give bith. The newborn cub is bling, hairless, and tiny, weighing only 85-140 g. Completely helpless, the cup cannot stand move much on it´s own for nearly 3 months. In turn, the mother is very protective and careful in tending to her cub during this time.

So, we can say that the problem with all of this is that the reproduction of pandas is too difficult by the naturalness of female pandas. Most of the pandas are in the forest of China. Since 2003, China started to make sites of recovery for this species. And other principal problem is the bamboo. Pandas has yo eat at least 20 kg of bamboo, bot for the industrial extention of China in all  this years, they removed too much forest and that´s the reason for many deaths of pandas.

But, the chinese government has actively worked to restore and protect bamboo habitat, and these measures have shown positive results. State Forestry Administration surveys have concluded that panda population has increased since the chinese government´s actions. In 2016, the IUCN upgraded the giant panda´s status from "Endangered"to "Vulnerable. According to a national study published in february 2015, China expanded the gigant panda habitat by almost 12% in the last decade with a total of 67 nature reserves. "Simply restoring the pamdas´habitat it has given them back their space and allowed them to havefood available", IUCN head Craig Hilton- Taylor told the BBC.

Un fortunately, while an increasing panda population is good, news for now, it is predicted that climate change will eliminate over 35% of the panda´s bamboo habitat in the next 80 years.
